Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-08
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Passrail during our private beta. By using Passrail you agree to these Terms. Passrail is operated by the Passrail team (“Passrail,” “we,” “us”).
Private beta
Passrail is currently offered as a private beta. Access is limited to approved beta participants, and the service is provided on an “as is” basis while we continue to build it.
Eligibility and accounts
You must have approved beta access to create an account, and you must be able to form a binding contract to use Passrail. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity that occurs under your account and your organization.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the agents, tools, policies, and actions you configure in Passrail, and for the people you invite to your organization. You agree to use the service in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
Agent behavior
Passrail provides policy, approval, and receipt infrastructure. It enforces a simple rule: no approval means no permission to act. That enforcement only applies to actions you actually route through Passrail. You are responsible for ensuring your agents and integrations check with Passrail before acting and for honoring its decisions. If an agent bypasses Passrail, we cannot guarantee how it will behave.
API keys and credentials
You must keep your API keys and credentials secure. Tool credentials should be stored in Passrail and not shared outside the platform. You are responsible for activity performed with your keys. Notify us promptly if you believe a key or credential has been compromised.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Passrail for any illegal activity.
- Attempt to bypass, probe, or defeat security controls.
- Engage in abuse, spam, or distribute malware.
- Access accounts, data, or systems without authorization.
- Use Passrail to abuse third-party systems you connect to it.
Data and content
You own the data and content you submit to Passrail. You grant us the permission needed to process that data to operate and provide the service, including evaluating policies, generating receipts and audit logs, and delivering webhooks. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Beta limitations
Because Passrail is in beta, the service may change, features may be incomplete or removed, and we do not offer any uptime or availability guarantee. Data resets may occur. We will try to communicate significant changes where practical.
Disclaimers
Passrail is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. Passrail is not legal, compliance, or security advice. We do not guarantee that agents will behave correctly, particularly if they act without routing requests through Passrail.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Passrail and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the service during the beta.
Termination
You may stop using Passrail at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, including for violations of these Terms or to protect the platform, and beta access may end as the program changes.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves during the beta. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
